Strike Rules & Standards

Here is our Rules & Standards that we are looking for with our Sewists and what you, as our Sewists, can expect from us!

• This code is valid for the time that you strike for us and does not have a limit. 

Strike Bin Freebies

• Every Strike term, we try to offer everyone the opportunity to claim freebie goodies. Each Strike Bin varies from term to term, so you'll never see the same thing twice! Past Bins have included yardages of fabric, panels, vinyl, samples, thread, misprints, retired prints, and so much more!

Samples and Testers

• If Zombie Bunny's is trying out new products or fabrics, you'll be the first to receive them to give 'em a go! 

• Turn around time (TAT) for strikes varies per round, but you will always have at least two weeks to create your strike(s). Turn around times will sometimes be adjusted to accommodate schedule changes and shifts, but these will be announced in the Facebook Group. 
• Your creations/makes can be of whatever design or niche – purses, mouse ears, apparel, pet clothing, accessories, what have you! We believe that you should be able to create what you are inspired to! These makes do not have to be approved by us and you don't have to change what you make based on other Sewists' makes. 
• For each Round, strike sewists can receive up to 2 yards of fabric, 4 panels, and 3 yards of lanyard for their strikes for free! Any additional fabric, panels, or hardware after the 2 yards (either for strike or for personal use) will be offered at a strike discount. All claiming of fabric goes through our strike sewist section on our website (can be found here: https://zombiebunnyfabrics.com/collections/strike-sewists). Striker pays for shipping. 
• For the inital round of Strike Picking, we please ask that everyone only select items that they plan to strike for, in the quantities needed for their strike. We will open the Round again once everyone has made their Strike selection for Personal Buys. This will allow everyone to get the things needed for their own strike. 

 

PICTURES

• Pictures need to be clear, crisp, bright, and emphasize the fabric. Outdoor pictures with natural lighting are preferred. Please keep your backgrounds natural and tidy. We want to highlight both Zombie Bunny and your own work – well thought out and focused picture(s) will accomplish this!
• Both flat lays and modelled photos of clothing are acceptable! Model photos are a definite plus but are not a requirement.
• Once you have completed your pictures, locate the Round album on this group and upload your final pictures to it. This allows both Winnie and I to easily find your pictures and add them to the website/newsletter/Instagram. Please ensure your pictures are posted before the due date, posting them after/late can negatively impact the success of each Round, so please post them on time.
• Pictures submitted may be used for Zombie Bunny promo-ing in our newsletter, website, Instagram and other Zombie Bunny purposes.

 

PROMO-ING

• Each Round, Winnie will create several posts in our Facebook Group for promo-ing. Please be on the look out for Round Album (for your final pictures), Sneak Peeks (for posts prior to Round Opening), Promo-ing Schedule (to sign up for your days to promo), and your Individual Album (for screenshots of your promos). Be sure to utilize these posts!
• When Promo-ing, please be sure to tag, link, and direct people to the website! Especially be sure to do this when you are promo-ing off Facebook – people won’t know where to go/look if there is no link back.
• For each day of your Promo-ing, minimum requirement is 2 posts outside of the main group! It is fine to post within the Zombie Bunny Group but be sure to post outside of the group as well!
• Promo-ing does not have to be solely on Facebook – if you have a TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, etc., we would love for you to promo there as well! (Be sure to @ our account (@zombiebunnyfabrics) if on Instagram so we can like your post and make sure we are following you; or link people back to the website if you are promo-ing off Facebook!)
• When Promo-ing, be aware of other striker’s posts and space them out appropriately. We don’t want to oversaturate promo-ing groups and make them angry.

 

MISCELLANOUS NOTES

• Missing/Late For A Round Due to _____: We know that life happens and sometimes scheduling clashes. If, for whatever reason, you cannot meet the deadline for a strike or for promo-ing, please contact Winnie or myself prior to the deadline so we can work out alternative plans.
• Skipping a Round: If you need to completely skip a Round, please contact us prior to the Round Claiming. This will give us time to make sure your spot is accounted for and filled.
• Corrections to Photos, etc.: If any corrections are needed, either Winnie or I will contact you directly to discuss changes.
